Easter Egg Hunt

Douglas went on his first Easter egg hunt, well the first one since he's been walking. He wasn't quite sure at first, but he's got it all down now. He is especially quick opening the egg up and getting the candy out. Give him one egg with candy and forget about the others until that candy is gone. Man do I miss the good ole hard boiled egg hunts- peeling the shell away, adding some salt, and then eating the egg. Of course I don't miss the ones that were stepped on and covered in grass, but the others- oh yeah. James enjoyed the sun and watching all the kids run around him. I think in this picture he's saying something like, "Mom, try putting one more stuffed toy in here with me that makes noise, vibrates, and is all different colors." We really don't cram all of those in with him normally. Maybe Douglas gave him a few that day?? He will actually give James his lamby (security blanket) but is soon to take it back. It's just a quick share, but oh so sweet. Anyway, the hunt went well, and it was so much fun watching Douglas run for the eggs.
