The Sweetest Reunion Ever

Last week took us, Molly, Doug, and James, to St. Louis for an Air Force thing leaving Douglas with Papa back at home. This was, by far, the hardest thing I've had to do, so far. Even harder than sitting in the waiting room when Douglas was 8 months old and going through surgery while being put "under". Yes, I'm fully aware of the fact that I'm a little addicted to my boys, and the thought of being away from them for a whole week just makes me cringe. But, I did it, and it all worked out. Everyone's alive and healthy. The best thing was seeing Douglas' reaction when he and Papa pulled up to the airport to pick us up. He kept saying in a high pitched voice, "Mommy, I missed you. Mommy, I missed you." And then "Daddy..." and then, of course, "James..." He takes off running through the airport to help us get our luggage, and he's yelling it over and over again. The cutest thing ever!! So the following pictures are of when we get back to the house, and the boys reunite, and as you see, it doesn't take long for them to get back into the routine wrestling match. But they sat like they are in the first picture for about 2-3 minutes just hugging on each other. So Sweet. I had to share.
